Milan-born, Berlin-based artist Groove Daniel has dwelled in electronic music for 15+ years, consistently bringing the freshest sounds to tastemakers and music fans alike. Throughout his time in the industry he has racked up an accolade of releases on his labels & platforms Lounge Squatt & Berlin Invasion.
After many years spent in Milan as a promoter, DJ and activist living the golden age of free parties and the rave scene, plus numerous appearances in major clubs across Italy, he moved to Berlin where he set up “Lounge Squatt”, a platform that has been organizing events and parties between the German capital, Italy and the UK since 2011.
A true child of soundsystem culture with a career that spans over a decade, He’s collected gigs all over the world in respected venues and festivals, performing with some of the finest artists & labels in the scene.
A vinyl lover but also a digital performer, he is known for his extended sets and his signature mix of bass music & techno, which he delivers in exquisitely curated sets. His live act explores deep sounds and large spaces, somewhere between breakbeat & techno without borders.
The last few months have seen him busy in the studio adding to his already sizeable collection of singles with tracks like “Down on Me”, featuring the amazing voice of Mz Sunday Luv & Konik Polny.
On top of a number of podcasts and mixes, his sound has been heard on radio shows across the globe on stations such as Unika Fm, Fnoob Techno Radio where is hosting a regular radio show , Data Transmission,Session Faction and many more.
In 2017 and beyond he’ll continue to influence bringing his “Sounds Like” party to homes throughout Berlin with the succesful “Berlin Invasion” party series in Mensch Meier & “The Raven” co-hosted with Max Durante.
